Many of the books of the Bible can be profitably unit-read. By unit-reading, we mean reading straight through that book without stopping.
So often our knowledge of the books of the Bible is piecemeal. Unit-reading through an entire book at one sitting gives us a sense of its overall theme.
It seems that today many ethnically Jewish Christians are going back to keeping the Old Testament dietary laws and feasts. If, however, they believe all Christians need to be following Jewish laws in order to honor God, it seems to me they are missing some of the message of the book of Hebrews (Galatians, as well).
