What Are You Afraid Of?

16 Jan

These cats were terrified by a cucumber!  It makes me ask, what do I fear?  We are all familiar with Franklin D. Roosevelt in his Inaugural Address on March 4, 1933, when he said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”  Really?

The Bible is quite clear that the beginning of wisdom is the FEAR of the Lord. What are you afraid of?  I’m afraid of disappointing the Lord, of not following His best for me, of not being useful to His purposes and His kingdom, of frittering away my days and months.

Got any fears?  I’d love to hear what they are.

i think those cats were afraid because their first sight of the cucumber reminded them of their tail. and it was not connected to them! the one on the counter could pat at one because there were two of them, and a cat knows they only have one tail. so it couldn’t be either of the two. process of elimination in favor to have room for calculation.
