The Joy of Unit-Reading #23 (the Minor Prophet Malachi)

15 Feb

We are on a journey to unit-read 65 of the 66 books of the Bible.  By unit-reading, we mean to sit down and read straight through a book without stopping.  Today’s book is the last book of the Old Testament, the Minor Prophet Malachi.

There is so much in this four-chapter book!  Here are my notes:

Although there is much that I do not understand in this short book, I do understand that the Lord wants clean sacrifices, acceptable offerings.  He wants His name shared as GREAT — and He wants me to stand in awe of His name.

He wants my service to Him not to be futile, but productive.  I also want to experience what it means to FROLIC like well-fed calves in the presence of the Lord!  You?

Here’s a short video of calves frolicking! (Done any frolicking lately?)
