    Yes, but there’s a tension there.  If we present the Good News in an effective way, then they may not hear.  I think it is also our duty to know and understand well enough those with whom we are sharing, to be effective.

    It’s not what one says that ultimately matters.

    It’s not how one says it that ultimately matters.

    All that matters is what the other hears!

    It is or responsibility to ensure they “hear” the God News!

    A relatively new pet peeve of mine is using lingo with which we are comfortable, but doesn’t communicate effectively. And often we use words we don’t really understand. Just two examples… Gospel and Christ.

    I’ve done (and continue to do) a poll and ask believers what those words mean. Your might find it interesting too all around at church some?  I have found that less than 10% know the definition of those (and other commonly used words).  And these are mostly, Bible believing and studying folk. How on Earth do we expect it to communicate to unbelievers???

    Ok, ok, I’ll stop ranting. Let’s do lunch sometime… SOON!
