The Theology of Calvin . . . and Hobbes (Terms)

Terms are important. What we call things is critical. In our gender-bending and gender-denying culture, the very essence of masculinity and femininity is being challenged. But God says, “²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1). The Bible is quite clear on the sexes. And when we mess with the language of God’s Word, we only hurt ourselves.
