How do we “stay smart”? Saving some money and spending a night at a Holiday Inn Express is one way. That might be an economical and intelligent decision.
But how about in life? How do we get and stay smart in the things that really count? The Bible is, of course, the textbook on smartness, for Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” We are not naturally smart about spiritual things. Although many people are highly intelligent in many areas, true brilliance comes from a relationship with the Lord.
What’s your I.Q.? We can all get a whole lot smarter through a study of God’s Word. And that will help us solve the complicated equation of . . . life!
