The Theology of Calvin . . . and Hobbes (Creativeness)

We should value craftsmanship, beauty, creativity! But Calvin’s protest is not so much the exaltation of man made in the image of God, but procrastination about his unfinished assignment! We have the tremendous ability to be creative like our God. But as sinners, we can use the best truths about man’s make-up to explain our laziness and indolence. We are both fallen and gloriously created in His image!
